Cape Bojeador Lighthouse

Cape Bojeador is one of the most visited tourist spots in Ilocos. You just need to bring at least Php 50 per person for the entrance fee and the tricycle ride going up to the lighthouse that cost Php 10 per passenger.

The lighthouse is also known as Burgos Lighthouse, it was established during the Spanish colonial era in our country. As you go up, you will see the historical mark of Cape Bojeador beside the front door.

What’s inside the lighthouse?

When we went to Cape Bojeador we were not able to see the actual light room because it was closed.

That’s it! After you wander around at Cape Bojeador, you can go to another tourist spot near the lighthouse which is Kapurpurawan Rock Formation.

Time Travel to Vigan City

There are lots of beautiful places within Ilocos. Let us first start at Vigan City, the capital. It is known for the preserved historic Spanish architecture and sites. Filipino tourists will feel like they are time traveling back to the past.

As you wander around Vigan City, it is a must to go to Calle Crisologo- the most beautiful street in the Philippines.

  • Mother of Philippine women’s literature, Leona Florentino will welcome you.
  • There are commercialized restaurants where you can it.
  • Souvenir shops are everywhere and you can buy a lot of stuffs for remembrance.
  • You can see actual callesa in Calle Crisologo and you can ride it.

If you are in a hurry you can eat at these fast food restaurants. You can also try their signature Vigan Empanada at Casa Jardin. It is hot and crunchy empanada filled with meat, vegetables, and egg.
